Reflections

What I learned about the research is how slang is used when It's used and doing this project helps me better myself from saying the word "nigga". I really think I did good on this project. I thought it was going to be incomplete and not ready to publish. I started to give up but I didn't. I went on and followed through the project. That's what made me proud of myself.

Recommendations

I think that people should investigate on what was all the races entered. I wanna travel the other places to see how much the word is used. I liked this project a lot hope to change the world. I think i need to conduct more information to some of my posts. I wish my blog can go around the united states and people survey my blog to see who all answered my questions.

conclusions

I'm thinking bout 42 percent of the white folks said they never and about 42 percent of black people said they do use it.

survey data

Out of the 96 people the majority of people said no they never use the word. A quarter of them use it every day thats interesting.

When we separate the answers between black and white this is what we found on the survey It's interesting about the results we have found. It is clear from this chart that more blacks are saying the word "nigga" than whites.

Secondary research

In the story I'm reading when people use the n word Kurtis Blow and a group of people have a funeral to try to get rid of the word. Kurtis is trying to change black African Americans slang talk and make ones use other words other than curse words and bad words.

Research Question

Do people think using the words nigga and curse words makes them cool or what?

1)Do people in Decatur use the same slang as other teenagers around the world?
2)Why do teenagers join gangs?
